Preferential
The school is open to all students with a connection to a Catholic Parish Community. A preference form, signed by the Parish Priest, must be received by the school for each child wishing to enrol. Appointments with the Parish Priest can be made by contacting the Parish Secretary on (07)8475688
An Enrolment Contract Form must be filled out, which parents sign, indicating that they consent to their child participating fully in the Religious Education Programme, and also to pay Attendance dues to the Catholic Integrated Schools Office. The Preference form and Enrolment form are then presented at the school.
NON - PREFERENTIAL
a) A limited number of students with non-preference status may be on the school roll.
b) Parents are able to place their child's name on the waiting list at any time. Students will be offered placement as vacancies occur, and in accordance with the school's policy.
ENROLMENT PROCEDURES
We require that a birth certificate or passport is shown at the time of enrolment and we request a copy of the student's immunisation record.
We encourage parents to pre-enrol their child as early as possible, preferably by the age of 4. This includes younger siblings of students already at the school.
PRE-SCHOOL VISITS
We encourage two pre-school visits before a child begins school. Please contact the school to confirm a suitable time.
ATTENDANCE DUES
School Attendance Dues are $368.00 per child a year. The Catholic Integration Schools Office will send out invoices at the beginning of each year, and payments are to be paid directly to that office. Cheques are to be made out to R.C. Bishop of Hamilton – Diocesan Schools A/C.
Automatic Payments can be arranged with the Catholic Integration Schools Office. This money is used by the Diocese to fund building and capital works in schools.
The Diocese also asks for a $30.00 donation towards supporting the Catholic Character of our schools. This money is used to fund teacher's professional development, and support for schools to develop and enhance Catholic Character.
