Principal's Message
Reflections on the past fortnight;
We concluded last week with a wonderful Book Week celebration, where our school community came together to embrace the joy of reading and imagination. Thank you to our families for supporting this event and encouraging your children to dress up and engage in conversations about books at home.
Our Gospel reflection yesterday at mass was ‘We have the freedom to choose to accept the fullness of faith offered by Jesus and the choice is ours’. Go well this week, giving through positive thoughts and listening to the opportunity to serve and help others.
A huge thank you to the FOTS for organising the Disco Night two weeks ago, which was a fantastic success! The amount raised was approximately $3000.00.
We appreciate our Dad's (or significant others) and sons who attended the breakfast event last Friday, focusing on important messages of encouragement, love, and self-acceptance. Please see some of the slides from the breakfast below.
As the sports season concludes, we encourage you to attend your child's prizegiving(s) and reflect on the importance of experience, fun, friends, and connection over scoreboard results. The community volunteer army is what NZ sport is made up of and I would like to thank you all for the extra time and commitment that you give to our school and the clubs outside school that you might belong to. To all the parents who volunteer their time as coaches and manage their Saturday and weekly sports teams - thank you from us all. Without you our kids would not have these opportunities.
